CMGA 2025 Q4 General Membership Meeting
President John Christmas called the 39th General Membership Meeting to order at 7:10 pm on November 14, 2025 at the Chattahoochee Country Club Ballroom.
Roll call was conducted with the following Board and Advisory Committee attendees: John Christmas, President; Gary Vogel, Vice President; Drew Satterfield NP, Treasurer; David Schofield, Secretary; Tournament Director and Website Manager, George Mah; Advisory Committee: Don Gardner, Eddie Johnson, Gary Palmer, and Steve Hill; and special Guest: Guest Speaker, Rodger Hogan and Ed Pallo, Pro Shop Attendant.
New Business:
As required by the By-Laws, every year during our Membership Meeting the election of Board Officers was conducted. The following Board Officers for 2026 were elected by the Membership:
Gary Vogel, President; Vice President, Drew Satterfield; Treasurer, David Schofield; Steve Postemski, Secretary
The President recognize the Advisory Committee Members; Eddie Johnson, Steve Hill, Gary Palmer, Rich Fleming, and Don Gardner for their advice and support throughout the year.
The President recognized George Mah, Tournament Director and Website Manager for his initiative in providing the Members an array of Golf Genius enhancements along with improvements to the CMGA website. The Members are fortunate he accepted to remain as Tournament Director and Website Manager for 2026.
The annual budget developed for 2025 by Don Gardner, last year’s treasurer, ensured an increase of membership dues for 2026 will not be required.
The President thanked Rich Flemming, for remaining in office to allow the Board recruit David Schofield as Board Secretary. He also thanked Gary Vogel and Drew Satterfield for managing CMGA during his eye surgery recovery.
The President briefed the Members concerning next year’s CGC renovation concerning arrangements made with Lennie Holland, General Manager at Chicopee Woods in hosting CMGA during the renovation. Further details regarding the transition to Chicopee will be forthcoming by late December.
The President introduced Rodger Hogan, a founding Member of CMGA, as the guest speaker. Mr. Hogan provided an excellent briefing concerning the upcoming course improvements along with a question-and-answer period afterwards.

The Board thanked Sharon Christmas for arranging the festive table decorations for the annual meeting.
The Board recognized the Chattahoochee Country Club for their Hospitality this evening and Tom Nelson for coordinating the arrangements with the Country Club.
